After earning his bachelor of science from the University of Windsor in Canada, Dr. Kurt Henry relocated to Grenada to attend the St. George’s University School of Medicine. He subsequently completed an internship and a residency in internal medicine at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia and fellowships in basic science critical care research at St. Louis University Health Science Center. In 2005, Dr. Kurt Henry returned to the academic environment to obtain a master of science in program management from the University of Maryland University College.

 In terms of his wider professional engagement, Kurt Henry is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of several other organizations, including the Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Medical Association and the American Association for the Advancement of Sciences.

For recreation, Kurt Henry enjoys watching documentaries on subjects ranging from the civil rights movement to major geo-political events. He is also an avid science fiction fan and follows the Star Wars and Hunger Games series of films. He is active in sports such as golf, cycle spinning, swimming and running.
